Kitchen Countertop Remodel

Whether you're upgrading your current kitchen, or are building a new home, there are many choices when it comes to your kitchen. Arguably one of the most important spaces in your home, your kitchen should be comfortable, functional, and match your personal style. It is no question that an ungraded kitchen adds significant value to your home, especially at time of re-selling.

When selecting a kitchen countertop, a customer selects the material, the color, the edge, and whether you will match the backsplash with the material.

Granite: many customers chose granite countertops due to granite's beauty, durability, functionality, and availability of a wide variety of colors and styles. Granite is a natural stone, so no two slabs are alike (though slabs in many of the more popular colors are almost identical).

Quartz is a man-made engineered products consisting of 90% ground quartz (a natural hard mineral) and 8-10% acrylics such as resin, polymers, and pigments. This forms a very hard, granite-like surface.. Quartz is a popular material right now among home remodeling trends. There are many different brands of Quartz countertop surfaces such as Cambria, Ceasarstone, Zodiaq, Silestone, GEOS, among others. It is a very durable and easy-to-care-for material.

Corian and Hi-MACS are man-made acrylic countertop products composed of natural mineral filler and resin. They are durable materials with invisible seams, making it a good choice for kitchens with high usage.

Marble is also commonly used as a luxury product for kitchen countertops.
